A fun journey into the history of tango music and dance!
Join us on a fun journey back in time to the Buenos Aires of the late 19th century and the infamous roots of Argentine tango. Through historical documents, photography, music, art and literature Elena Atanasiu (PhD in Latin American Studies, UC Davis) and Julia Auzmendi (University of Buenos Aires) will share with you fun facts and surprising information about this world famous music and dance. Open your favorite wine and join us for this interactive presentation followed by a Q&A session.
