La Creciente Tango Ensemble from the Paraná Delta, Buenos Aires

La Creciente is a tango ensemble that play a mostly classic repertoire including traditional tangos like those of Carlos Gardel, Anibal Troilo, Enrique Santos Discépolo and Homero Manzi. All musicians live in the wetlands of the Paraná Delta, a collection of hundreds of islands that cover an area of 5,400 square miles, one hour away from Buenos Aires. All of them understand and think their musical project as part of a bigger project that includes living a sustainable life away from the city.
