Support Art During the Pandemic

Since February of 2020, most artists had to cancel all of their scheduled events and stay home to help alleviate the terrible situation all the world is going through, loosing not only their income but also their sense of identity and belonging without being able to perform anymore. At the same time, as people shelter at home, most of us found solace in all ways of art & culture that we could access from home. From organizing old pictures, cleaning up our bookshelves, to looking at museums all over the world online. This summer we were not planning to participate of the Artown Festival. We thought: how can we do tango online???? Artown directors insisted and we had to find creative ways to offer our beloved tango from our work-desks. We know that you love and appreciate art and that you miss tango, music, dance! That is why we as a team put together all of our efforts and best spirits to make this happen! If you appreciate the artists, and you appreciate the people who allow artists to share their hard work, consider donating to the Reno Tango Collective.
